Poco C55 Secures IMDA Certification, Rumored to be a Rebranded Xiaomi Redmi 12C

Poco, the popular smartphone brand, has secured IMDA certification for an unreleased device with the model number 22127PC95G. The certification confirms that the device is a mobile phone with Bluetooth and WiFi capabilities. The device was also spotted on the EEC certification website in Europe back in September 2022. This suggests that the device, which is speculated to be called the Poco C55, will be launching in multiple markets outside of China.

It is speculated that Poco C55 could be a rebranded version of Xiaomi's Redmi 12C, which recently launched in China. If this is the case, the Poco C55 is expected to feature a 6.71-inch HD+ display with a 720p resolution, a 5MP front-facing camera, and a dual-camera setup at the back with a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor. Under the hood, it is expected to be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 processor, have up to 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage expandable up to 512GB via a microSD card. The device may also come with a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging support.
